Deleting your account and your data

At Hey My Doctor (Healicore Softwares FZCO), you stay in control of your data. You can request deletion of your account and its associated data at any time, using either of the two methods below.

How to request deletion

From the app (recommended)

Open the app, then go to Profile / Settings → Delete my account, and confirm. Your request is taken into account immediately.

From the web or by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email privacy@heymydoctor.com from your account’s email address, with the subject “Account deletion”. We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request.

What is deleted

We erase the data that identifies you and the content you created: your profile (name, email, phone, photo), your login credentials, the health data you entered in the app, your uploaded documents and images, your medication lists, your connected-device links, and the history of your appointments and teleconsultations linked to your profile.

What may be retained, and why

Some data may be retained, in a restricted or anonymized form, only where required by law or for a legitimate reason: billing and payment data (accounting and tax obligations), certain information related to healthcare acts (applicable legal medical retention periods), and information strictly necessary for fraud prevention, security, and compliance with our legal obligations. This data is kept only for the required period, then deleted or anonymized.

Timeframe

Your account is deactivated immediately. Actual deletion of the data, excluding items subject to legal retention, takes place within 30 days at most.
